Some incredible, promising female artists are stealing this wintery week for me.  Ella Eyre, ARIA, and Frida Sundemo are all winners with brand new music.  These ladies are definitely #whotowatch2014.

Chlöe Howl: Paper Heart

Chlöe Howl‘s track Rumour made a huge splash during it’s release at the beginning of 2013.  Is it her charming smile, her riveting red hair, or her jarring youth (18 YEARS OLD!)?  Most likely all of those in combination with fantastic songwriting and incredible pop production.  Forget Betty Who, this is where it’s at, and you won’t find her selling out to viral youtube fame.  Anyway, here’s a new track and video and it has one of those amazing pop choruses that we all yearn for.  It sure is shaping up to be a fantastic season of pop (prepare to see many more posts about it and its female gladiators).

Weekly Digest

The internet was all abuzz this week with some fantastic new releases.  Chvrches have released another single ahead of their full length debut (due out in September) entitled Gun.  This is my favorite track from them so far.  It’s more in the vein of The Mother We Share than the Recover EP, and it’s perfect for summertime pop.
