A little playlist for your special hump day. Maybe this can help get you through the rest of the week. I personally will be taking above ground trains just so I can commute listen.

Lulu James releasing another amazing single. I follow up Sky Ferreira’s fame inducing arrest with an old single likely to be on her hotly anticipated full-length (and it’s the perfect song for a single person’s Autumn). Arthur Beatrice follows up their EP with another single (solidifying their role as this year’s most heart wrenching band). Also Azealia Banks releases another single, and what? Still no full-length? Dayum girl…hype doesn’t last forever.
XOXO
There have been some exciting releases this week. Finally, Phantogram is here with a new single and it’s promising (hopefully we’ll get a solid follow up to their debut). Otherwise, on this playlist there are some rising artists releasing great new songs: Sohn, Banks, and Laura Welsh to name a few. Enjoy,
XOXO
This week’s playlist is full of amazing (mostly feminine) pop tracks. The debut single from Vaults, Cry No More, is making its dutiful rounds about the internet, full of positive responses despite their a-typical elusive persona. San Mei debuts an amazing pop track, Brighter, Mons Montis brings us some amazing electro-pop on Swept, and Frankie Rose continues teasing us of her promising debut with the track Street of Dreams (so looking forward to this album). Otherwise featured is a track that’s not on Postiljonen‘s amazing album Skyer, When all the Wild Things Die, Alicia Eris’ awesome old school RnB styles are present in her second single, I Moved on, and there are some shout outs to the boys with tracks from Ghosts and Sunboy, two promising pop acts, and the dreamy RnB outfit Oceaán. I’m super excited about this playlist, I hope it does something for you all too.
XOXO.
Here are some of my favorite tracks from what’s been floating around the internet this week. Astr really grabbed my attention as a brand new pop duo from Brooklyn who are serving post-modern pop in a delicious and dirty fashion. Continue reading
